Update: Confirmed April 10 or 16, 1882 Augusta Josephine Ruchotzke married to Theodos or Theodore Eicchorst on Dec. 12, 1887, in Niegie, Hufco, Weisenhohe, Germany.
Came to America in 1890 and to Thompson, North Dakota in 1909 and resided on farm 9 miles west of town til she passed away. :

Bertha (Eihhorst) Bjorgo, Portland, OR (died) Emma (Eichhorst)Fischer of Maywood, IL Frederich Eichhorst of Grand Falls, ND (died) Otto Eichhorst of Thompson, ND Will Eichhorst (died May, 1935) Brother survives her - Gust Ruchotzke of Osses, WI Unknown date when written by Emma. She was devotedly called Gunny by her 11 grandchildren. If she were alive as of this date, 10/21/2005, she’d have about 12 great-grandchildren. According to Aunt Betty, Augusta and Theodos settled in the Red River Vally, ND because of other family that had already settled there. According to Greg, Emma's grandson by daughter Marie, Emma’s parents were driven out of East Germany. They relocated to Montana where Marie was born.
4/21/07 I found in Gunny's book of photographs a picture postcard of one of her brothers.
The card was addressed to Mrs. Theo. Eichhorest. Notice the last "e" which Gunny did not include in the paper work she made. The information from her is listed below.

Camp Mills (Hempstead, NY) Nov. 1, 1918 Dear Parents Will drop a few lines while on guard. Am fine and dandy and hope you are the same. I arrived last night after a long trip. Was a nice trip though and enjoyed it very much. Don’t know when I leave but will send you a notice before I leave. The weather here is bad rain and cold and most disagreeable. What Funston (Camp Funston, Funston, Kansas -This information is at the top of the letterhead he is writing on) was bad but this is worse. How is everything up home. Hope first rae. Have not yet received the check you wired. It came to Funston the day we left and I wired back for it but has not arrived yet. Hope it gets here. Much news I can’t write so you must be contented until you hear from me. I remain Your Loving Son Ed. Regards to all.
